Opening from Facebook or Instagram? Their built-in browser can't install apps. First tap the ••• menu in the corner and choose "Open in Safari" (iPhone) or "Open in Chrome" (Android) — then follow the steps below.
On iPhone (Safari)
Open skiplark.com in Safari.
Tap the Share button — the square with the arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen."
Tap Add. Done — the Skiplark lark is on your home screen.
On Android (Chrome)
Open skiplark.com in Chrome.
Tap the ⋮ menu in the top corner (or the "Add Skiplark to your phone" banner if it appears).
Tap "Add to Home screen" → Install.
Why isn't Skiplark in the App Store?
Because installing from the web lets us fix things for you in hours, not weeks — a tester reported a bug at 10 PM recently and the fix was live before midnight. Skiplark works exactly like an app once it's on your home screen: full screen, offline, the works. App stores are on the roadmap; fast fixes for travelers come first.
