Terms of Service

Effective July 28, 2026 · Skiplark LLC, a Virginia limited liability company

These Terms govern your use of Skiplark, available at skiplark.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. Skiplark is a convenience tool, not a source of truth

This is the most important thing on this page. Skiplark uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to read travel confirmations and organize them. These systems make mistakes. Dates, times, addresses, confirmation numbers, gate information, and access codes may be extracted incorrectly, incompletely, or not at all.

You must verify all critical travel details against your original confirmations from the airline, hotel, rental company, restaurant, or venue. Never rely solely on Skiplark for a flight time, a check-in window, a cancellation deadline, or anything else where being wrong has consequences.

Skiplark is not responsible for missed flights, forfeited reservations, cancellation fees, denied entry, or any other loss arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or unavailable information.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase anything. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload — confirmations, documents, images, and the trips you build. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including any information about other people traveling with you.

You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the Service: to process your uploads so they can be organized, displayed, and shared at your direction.

4. Where your information lives

In the current version, your trip data is stored locally in your own web browser, not on Skiplark servers. This has two consequences worth understanding:

5. AI processing and your API key

Automated extraction is performed by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic). If you supply your own API key, it is stored in your browser and used to send your uploaded content to that provider for processing, subject to their terms and privacy practices. You are responsible for any charges incurred on your own key.

6. Payment, term, and refunds

7. Acceptable use

Don't use Skiplark to break the law, upload content you have no right to, attempt to access other people's data, interfere with or overload the Service, or resell it as your own without a written agreement with us.

8. Shared links

When you share a trip, anyone with that link can view what you shared. Treat shared dashboards as you would any link containing sensitive details — including confirmation numbers and access codes — and share them only with people you trust.

9. Availability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted information will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skiplark LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or travel-related losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we'll update the effective date above and, where practical, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
